About MuScene Taipei Studio A

Studio A is within 20-minutes’ walking distance from the Wanfung Hospital Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station along the Xiandian/green Line. We are located in the mansion the Hanshin Department Store used to be.More than 250 square meters of floor area is divided into recording rooms, control rooms, mastering room, arrangement room, and practice rooms.

Studio A adopts the sound absorption acoustic design, focusing on minimizing acoustic interference arising from reflected sound waves to facilitate post-production operations, such that the best mix-down quality can be anticipated. This setting is particularly suitable for broadcasting, audio books, vocal dubbing, vocalist recording, demo production, and small choir. The recording rooms are large enough to hold a drum set and amplifier, and is suitable for band demo recording, band song production and independent music distribution. 

With regard to post-production processing, our mastering room adopted standard monitoring design that meets the most rigorous frequency response requirement and RT60 standard. Multiple monitoring systems serve the purpose of cross-testing and contrasting to facilitate quick identification of errors and ensuing fixing. Our post-production facilities also allows synchronized video-audio mixing/tracking, and we had been involved in sound effect production for several cases of local TV series and even Hollywood products. 

In addition to well-equipped recording rooms, we have two practice rooms for artists’ final rehearsal prior to recording. In our arrangement rooms, we have both analogue as well as digital sound sources to serve a wide range of sound effects needed in arrangements. Our art and designing section can provide consultation and contract for product packaging, album design, book editing, arrangement, and publishing.

About MuScene Taipei Studio B

Studio B is located on Section 2 of Hsing-Long Road, Jingmei District, and is some 10 minutes’ walk from Studio A and main business zone. Studio B is located in a recessed and quiet lane off the main street near a scenery spot. A stand-alone attic and roof-top garden adds extra space for relaxation during work. We have both the needed privacy for studio work and business functions at this site.

Studio B is composed of three independent recording studios that can operate in sync-recording. Choirs up to 20 people, a band more than five artists that can do independent sync-recording, and a third setting can be settled in different physical space for independent rehearsal and synchronized recording. Facilities equipped in Studio B serves operations such as synchronous recording, chamber orchestra  

recording, album production, international collaboration, and Hi-Fi album production. Recording studios occupies 100 square meter of floor area and is more roomy than most similar studios in Taiwan. Even our lounge is sufficiently sound-proof such that a little rearrangement is all it takes to convert this space into an independent recording space. Our spacious and cozy environment can prepare the artists in their best condition for recording. 

Booths A ~ C and the post-production mixing room at Studio B apply independent floating acoustic isolation design, assisted with acoustic spectral field adjustment, low-frequency management, and acoustic diffusion/reflection correction, an absolutely accurate auditing and production surrounding is assured. Our post-production mixing studio allows professional quality music production, which includes 5.1, 7.1 multi-soundtrack Hi-Fi mixing, sound of picture for TV and movie, vocal dubbing, and multi-soundtrack special effects production.

About MuScene Taipei Studio C

Studio C is right next to the Taipei Municipal Xingfu Junior High School, and is within 15-min walking distance from Studio B.

The MuScene Studio C is designed with a mind set on serving domestic independent audio artists and groups by providing an easily accessible infrastructure where individual artists may meet and collectively wield their creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. We also provide financial assistance and management counselling for talented and motivated artists in their early stages of career development.  

Studio C is consisted of two independently floated recording studios. The larger one is composed of a recording control room flanked by two recording rooms that suit synchronized recording projects. The space can hold a 12-person choir, or a 5-person band for synchronized tracking. It is also perfect for string band recording, album production, synchronized international recording projects, and Hi-Fi album production.  

The smaller studio at site C contains a recording control room and its accompanying recording room that is ideal for all types of purposes at slightly smaller scale, such as choir consisted of up to 10 people, a 5-person band, and all other functions performed in the other larger studio at the same site, only with slightly tighter room. 

Even the common lounge area had been constructed with sufficient soundproofing measures, and this area can be turned from a resting space into a recording environment when the scale of synchronous recording exceeds the norm. The Studio C was designed and constructed to enable artists to exert their best artistic performance in a relaxing and cozy surrounding. 

All spaces at Studio C for acoustic production — recording, mixing, and various stages of postproduction processing, were constructed based on the soundproofing room-within-a-room concept, and the acoustic field corrected with spectrographic fine-tuning by the deployment of bass traps, diffusors, and various acoustic panels. The result is an accurate monitoring and production environment.   

The mixing/post-production room is ideal for stereo music production that meets standards of commercial albums. The same space had been designed for accommodating 5.1/7.1 surround sound Hi-Fi mixing production, TV/film sound tracking, dubbing and multichannel sound effects production.

About MuScene Studio Business Office in Tainan(Dolby Atmos or dtsX 7.1.4)

To serve customers in central and southern Taiwan, a business office is available in the Tainan City. Customers needing consultation and early stage project planning may use our facilities there to save you time spent on traveling.

Our facility in the Tainan Office is sufficient for most basic, non-commercial recording and dubbing projects; the final stages of production, mixing, mastering and publication will be processed in our main Studios in Taipei.  

If your recording project is of advanced professional level, our recording engineer in Tainan will help you to book Studio timeslot in Taipei, and he will also prepare you for your visit in our main studios. 

The MuScene Studios in Taipei currently hosts the largest scale internship programs available in Taiwan, and we wish to expand our Studio Sites in the near future to provide similar opportunities to young talents in the south.
